Indiana Man Accused of Spreading HIV Sentenced to Prison
(AP) — An Indiana man accused of spreading HIV has been ordered to serve 20 years in prison. The Terre Haute Tribune-Star reports (http://bit.ly/2nkCou2 ) that 32-year-old Isiah Benford was sentenced Tuesday. TERRE HAUTE, Ind. Court records said he either never discussed his HIV status with those sex partners or "taunted them with it and then claimed it was a 'joke.'" Benford of Terre Haute was charged in 2015.
