A 77-year-old lady in Houston, Texas, has died from flesh-eating pathogenic bacteria after exposure to contaminated Hurricane Harvey floodwaters. The Harris province Institute of Forensic Science said which Nancy Reed died of necrotizing fasciitis, a flesh-eating infection, on Sept. 15. The elderly lady fell into contaminated floodwater & was hospitalized after a wound in her arm became infected. The elderly lady is the 2nd man who suffered from flesh-eating contagion linked to Hurricane Harvey. The floodwaters in Houston ambit have receded, however officials said which the flesh-eating pathogenic bacteria probably continue be present on items & surfaces which were exposed to contaminated waters.
