A Pitt Meadows woman is fighting for her life in hospital after contracting a debilitating illness that will leave her without any hands or feet. "He was one of the sickest patients that we've ever taken care of," Dr. Elizabeth Steensma, an acute care surgeon at Spectrum Health Butterworth, told WOOD-TV.
