Canada’s deathly rabbit virus probably move south

THE WASHINGTON State section of Agriculture issued various warnings about the deathly virus ever ever its presence was approved on Vancouver Island March eight. Called rabbit hemorrhagic illness serotype virus two, or RHDV2, it's known to affect domestic & feral European rabbits. however it could run out of a colony of feral rabbits quickly, killing them within twelve to 36 hours of exposure. THE OUTBREAK started in February while dozens of dead feral rabbits were found near or at the Nanaimo campus of Vancouver Island University. It's 1 of various recommended precautions to guard versus a deathly virus which's killing feral rabbits in English Columbia.
