Ohio man with HIV charged with murder in infected partner's death

TOLEDO, OH (AP) — An Ohio man accused of not telling his girlfriend he was HIV-positive has been charged with murder after the woman's death, which was attributed to AIDS. WTVG-TV reports that Murdock's girlfriend, 51-year-old Kimberly Klempner, had AIDS and died in February. Her son, Josh Klempner, says Murdock dated the woman for years without telling her he had HIV and that he was married. Ronald Murdock, of Toledo, also is charged with felonious assault."She would have done anything for that man," Josh Klempner said. "By the time she found out and by the time everything was said and done, it was way too late," said Josh Klempner. A police report said Murdock's wife discovered that Murdock and Klempner were having an affair and told Klempner that Murdock was HIV positive. A married man accused of not telling his longtime girlfriend that he was HIV-positive was charged with murder after the woman died of AIDS. Murdock and Klempner had unprotected sex when he knew he was HIV positive, but he did not tell her, the indictment said.
