Man guilty of infecting boyfriend with HIV quoting : Newstalk ZB

A man accused of infecting his boyfriend with HIV has been found guilty. The defence said the complainant was untrustworthy, he could've got the virus from someone else, and Filitonga told him he was positive before they had intercourse. After almost seven hours of deliberations, the jury found Filitonga guilty of both charges. The Crown said the 37-year-old - knowing he was positive and fully aware of his obligation to disclose his health status - had unprotected sex with his boyfriend from February 2014.
