Flu cases rising along Treasure Coast, Brevard County
The annual flu season isn't expected to peak for another three weeks. The flu vaccine is recommended for everyone ages six months and older, including pregnant women, according to state health officials. Since the start of the flu season in mid October, there have been 74 outbreaks statewide, mainly in nursing home or long-term care facilities. For information about flu shot clinics, call a doctor or a county health departments.
