TPS Elementary teacher dies from flu according to : kjrh

TULSA - Services have been scheduled for the TPS Hoover Elementary school teacher who died of complications from the flu this week. Each step is a new memory, reliving moments of an adored teacher they'll never see again. Now 9th grade Union student, Annessa Hubbard, says Mrs. Hutcherson wasn't just a teacher, but a friend. "She was really fun," Hoover 5th grade student Lainey Grammer said. She was honored as Teacher of the Year at Hoover and was selected for an international teacher program that allowed her to travel to China with students to share teaching experiences.



TPS Elementary teacher dies from flu
ROCKY RIVER, OH (WCMH) – A six-year-old girl from the Cleveland area died last night from a rare complication of the flu. Her mother posted a message on Facebook saying how the family has been humbled by the love, prayers and support of the community. Tests indicated she had a viral infection and her body's immune response system and brain had been damaged by that infection. While this is a very difficult time for our family, we are extremely grateful for Eva's medical team, especially her nurses. We are thankful for all that was done for our daughter during her relatively brief time in the hospital."

Trinity third-grader dies from the flu

Family friend Michelle Markley said Payton was diagnosed with the flu last Saturday at Washington Hospital and returned to her Washington area home. Trinity Area School District sent an email to families Friday, alerting them that a Trinity South third-grader had died and grief counselors had been brought into the school. Payton PiersonA third-grade student at Trinity South Elementary School has died after contracting the flu, according to relatives and a family friend. She was transported to Washington Hospital before being transferred to Children's via medical helicopter. Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is common and highly contagious, and usually associated with young children.
