Isiah Benford offered plea agreement in HIV case; could face 30 years with 10 years served on probation stat : WTHITV

Benford was offered a plea agreement of 30 years for the seven victims involved in this case. (WTHI) – BREAKING UPDATE (9:58AM): Isiah Benford has been offered a plea agreement in the case against him where he is accused of knowingly spreading HIV for more than a decade. This plea agreement has been taken under advisement until March 14. Judge taking plea agreement under advisement. On Monday morning jury selection was scheduled for the case against Benford involving robbery and battery.

Plea agreement offered in Benford HIV case
The judge in the case is scheduled to rule on the plea deal on March 14th. That trial was postponed and the jury dismissed after a plea deal was offered on 16 counts that he knowingly spread HIV to seven women. Terre Haute, Ind (WIBQ) - The trail of a Terre Haute man facing charges of robbery and battery has been put on hold while a plea deal on other charges is being considered. 32 year old Isiah Benford was to go on trial today on charges of robbery and battery. The plea agreement calls for a 30-year term, with 10 years to be suspended.
