West Nile virus found in Wood CountyMosquito (Photo: Getty Images)WISCONSIN RAPIDS - A dead crow found in Wood County has tested positive for West Nile Virus.The crow, found Aug. 29, was the first bird that tested positive since Wood County began its surveillance for the mosquito-transmitted disease May 1, according to the county Health Department.The positive test means people need to be more vigilant about avoiding mosquito bites, said Sue Kunferman, county health director, in a news release.
