KELOWNA – With the onset of flu season, Interior Health is recommending people get an annual flu shot.The agency says the inoculation is a safe, effective way to protect the public especially children, pregnant women, seniors and people with chronic illnesses."The best ways to help protect yourself and those around you from influenza are to get immunized, wash your hands frequently and to cough or sneeze into your elbow or a tissue," said medical health officer Dr. Moliehi Khaketla in a news release.
