Palm Beach will spray and use larvacide to treat standing water in an effort to combat the Zika virus.By William KellyDaily News Staff WriterThe Town Council approved on Monday a plan to kill the mosquitoes that carry the Zika virus by treating catch basins of standing water with larvacide and by spraying town-wide to kill adult mosquitoes.Council members decided that residents must be notified 10 days before the town-wide spraying, a one-time treatment that will be done by truck in a single night between midnight and 5 a.m., when people are indoors.
