A vaccine against the Zika virus could soon be developed, as Congress has passed a $1.1 billion dollar bill to ensure money goes towards Zika research.Local Congressman Jim Costa returned from Washington on Friday and shared with us how that billion dollar funding will be allocated to fight the mosquito-borne virus.Republicans and Democrats have disagreed for a while on how much funding should go towards Zika research, but on Thursday, they were able to unite to get a bill signed that will hopefully stop Zika from spreading any further.
