ARTICLEOut of the 1.2 million people living in the United States that have been diagnosed with HIV , one in eight people are not even aware of having the virus.Ongoing scientific advancements made over the years have allowed scientists to obtain better control over the virus, but it remains a public health concern worldwide, especially in homosexual and bisexual men, or men who have sex with men , of all races, worldwide.A new discovery made by researchers at the University of Zurich and the University Hospital-Zurich may contribute to the development of an effective HIV vaccine.The researchers found that there are broadly neutralizing HIV antibodies (bnAbs) that are created within one percent of individuals who are infected with the virus.
