BASTROP COUNTY, Texas - Texas health officials are investigating the death of a 13-year-old boy from Bastrop County who reportedly passed away due to complications from the West Nile virus.The family of Cody Hopkins posted a message on Facebook saying he died Sunday after he was diagnosed and received treatment for the virus.The Austin-American Statesman reported officials with the Texas Department of State Health Services declined to confirm whether Hopkins died from the virus, and they do not release information about individual patients.
