JOHANNESBURG, South Africa, Sept. 17 (UPI) -- Archbishop Desmond Tutu was admitted to a hospital in South Africa after a recent surgical site began showing signs of infection, his family said.Tutu recently had surgery in an attempt to treat a recurring infection, and was released from the hospital Wednesday after a three-week stay.His wife Leah said Saturday the surgical wound was infected and would require further treatment.
